ST. DYMPHNA BEFRIENDING SERVICE

Members can be anyone experiencing any mental distress or illness or indeed if you care for anyone with mental distress or illness.
The group will aim to offer befriending, social activities and practical help to members, as well as embracing a Christian focus in all that we do.  To learn more click on the link below.

COFFEE MORNINGS

Our monthly Coffee Mornings first started in 1994 and are held in the Parish Hall Lounge, after Mass, on the third Wednesday each month. Lots of friendly chat, tea, coffee and refreshments all in aid of raising funds for local and National charities.

BETHANY GROUP

Losing someone you care about can be one of life's most difficult experiences. Talking abut it really helps.
Sr Christina Murray (RIP) started the Bethany Group in this parish several years ago, with support from Lillian Kickham and Anne McAteer. The Bethany Group is a pastoral group that offers friendship, support and spiritual help to those in the parish who have experienced the death of a loved one. The group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month in the parish Hall lounge after morning Mass. For further details contact Anne McAteer TEL: 024 76386718

The NCDF is a local charity that helps children/young people with disabilities. If you would like to know more about their work, or make a donation, please get in touch  through the link below.

Our local NCDF branch organises pilgrimages, trips, social events and many different activities for those with physical, learning and sensory difficulties and their families, supporting children and adults alike

The SVP is a Lay Charity organisation within the Catholic Church. It's mission is to help any person who is in need regardless or colour, class, creed or diversity. We make an appeal for support in our Parish of Our Lady of the Angels every year and to date, we have been very generously supported by our Parishioners. To learn more please click the link below.

TODDLER GROUP

The toddler group meet every Tuesday 1pm to 3pm (term time only) in the Parish Hall.  Toddlers enjoy a snack and adults enjoy a cuppa!

SENIORS TUESDAY CLUB

The Seniors Group meet each month, in the Parish Hall Lounge, after Mass, fortnightly and host various events including guest speakers throughout the year covering Local History, Crafts, Singsongs, Charities and Travelogues in Pictures, quizzes, bingo and Beetle drives.  Everybody is welcome so why not join in!

ST. MARTHA GROUP

The St Martha Group is a dedicated group of volunteers that clean inside the church on a weekly basis.  New volunteers are always welcome by contacting the parish office on the link below.

EDGE YOUTH GROUP

Edge is the parish youth group for Our Lady of the Angels, St. Francis of Assisi and Our lady of the Sacred Heart.  Click on the link to learn more

CHRISTIAN MEDITATION

Meditation sessions are held each Monday at 7.30pm in the parish Hall during term time.  Dates can be found in the weekly parish  newsletter.
This group started in 2016, and has continued as a weekly session in the parish since that time.  The prayer is built on the Worldwide Christian community Meditation (WCCM) as proposed by Fr John Main a Benedictine Priest. and has groups in many parishes in England/Ireland and almost every country in the world.  If you have not meditated in this way or would like to try please join us.  New members are welcome and contact can be made through the Parish Office.  Further information available on wccm.org

Adult Converts

This is a group for non-Catholics who would like to learn more about the faith and also Catholics who would like to refresh their faith. It meets Tuesdays (except during school holidays) at 7.30pm in the parish Hall.
